Hector Aguirre is a life-long resident of the Desert Southwest. As a native of El Paso, TX, he has been the owner of the Hector Aguirre Insurance Agency with an affiliation as an Exclusive Agent with Allstate Insurance Companies since 2005. He was a member of the Contra Bass Line with the 1996 Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. Since that time, he has worked with various high school marching bands to include: Bowie High School, Irvin High School, Eastwood High, Riverside High School, El Paso High School, Pebble Hills High School, Fabens High School and currently assisting a fellow Arsenal Staff Member with their band at Bel Air High School. 

Prior to taking over as director, he served on the Board of Directors for Arsenal Performing Arts in 2018.  Since becoming the Executive Director of Arsenal Performing Arts in 2019, Arsenal Drum and Bugle Corps has continued to grow and provide the students and staff with an educational experience they won’t forget, taking the Silver Medal Rating in the 2019 DCI Southwestern Championships, the “Gold Medal” in the 2022 SoundSport Virtual Competition and Gold Medal Rating for the 2023 DCI Southwestern Championships in San Antonio, TX.

With the Sun City Musical Arts’ acquisition of Arsenal in September of 2023, Hector was nominated to serve on as President of the Sun City Musical Arts Board of Directors.
